Starting in October, Amapola is expanding in northern Italy with a new office in Turin, at the Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, in via Aosta 8.

The location is in the Borgata Aurora district, where in the early 1900s Piedmontese architect Pietro Fenoglio designed the only foreign branch of Switzerland’s Chocolat Tobler company, famous for its Toblerone chocolate bar.

“We are opening offices in Turin because we firmly believe in the development potential of the city and the region of Piedmont,” says Amapola CEO Luca Valpreda. “Turin has undergone enormous changes in the last ten years and today we see it as an ideal fulcrum, a city where close attention to cultural and social issues co-exists with a serious and deep-rooted professional preparation, impressive technical and scientific capabilities, and a far stronger level of public-sector engagement than elsewhere. So Turin is the perfect launch-pad as Amapola strengthens its focus on the vital issues of the environment and sustainability.”
