The offices in Via dell’Acquedotto, where the new company head office will be built, yesterday hosted the annual general meeting of the Egea Group, a multiutility based in Alba and Italy’s third-largest provider of district heating services, seventh-largest power provider and eighth-largest gas provider. At the meeting, the chairman presented the 2014 annual report, which contains encouraging figures: the Group closed the year with Ebitda at 26.2 million euro (+8.4{f94e4705dd4b92c5eea9efac2f517841c0e94ef186bd3a34efec40b3a1787622} on 2013) and significant earnings growth (to 3.1 million euro).

Egea is planning a rights issue, to take place by the end of the year. Economic sustainability coupled with close ties with the community, without which a process of harmonious stable growth would not be possible.
